Job Responsibilities Pennoni associates is seeking a Field Survey Technician with experience consistent, but not limited to:
Adjust & operate surveying instruments ie, prisms, total stations, GPS/electronic distance-measuring equipment, auto-levelsRecording survey measurements and descriptive data using notes, drawings, sketches, and data collection filesUse rods for bench loops and cross-section elevationsPosition targets that operators use for sighting in order to measure angles, distances, and elevationsSearch, stake and recover of sectional and property corners together with other survey monumentationPerform manual labor, such as cutting brush to clear lines, carrying stakes, rebar, and other items, and staking survey monumentationPerform construction staking activitiesIf you can adapt well to new situations, are a team player and a problem solver that can work with a high level of accuracy we urge you to apply!
