Mailroom Assistant

The Mailroom Associate with work under direct supervision of the Manager of the Printing Department. You will be working alongside your manager on day to day tasks associated with the job. Our Printing department has a mailroom and warehouse that is managed through this department.
Essential Duties include but not limited to:
Prepare and process inbound and outbound courier shipments using computer or service provider's equipment such as UPS
Perform Inventory stock count in warehouse
Maintaining supplies such as shipping envelope, boxes, copy paper, etc
Records and files information
Ability to perform duties such as filing, typing, faxing and answering phone
Placing orders for our retail locations via online or telephone
Other assigned duties

Education, Experience & Skills Required
High School Diploma
6 months to 1 year of experience in a mail room, or office environment
Proficiency in computer skills required Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a team environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
