Anesthesia Tech 3 Inova Loudoun Hospital
Inova Loudon Hospital is looking for an Anesthesia Technician 3 to join our Operating Room Team supporting the Anesthesia Provider for routine/complex cases and procedures. This role is full timeDon't miss the opportunity to be a part of the organization and Hospital, recognized for excellence and innovation, and where we create an environment of respect and growth, where contributions are recognized and rewarded.Responsibilities Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems before, during and after anesthesia in in invasive monitor insertion and procedures such as pulmonary artery catheter, central venus access, fiberoptic intubation and difficult airway situations per hospital policy. Operates cardiac output system under the direction of the anesthesia provider per hospital guidelines. Monitors EKG for dysrhythmias under the anesthesia provider supervision per hospital policy. Perform daily maintenance, inventory and cleaning of Anesthesia Workrooms, Labs, Cabinets and supply shelves Inserts IV's and performs phlebotomy for specimens, operate blood gas analyzer (recognizing abnormal values), process Blood Samples and assists with and obtains patient monitors for transport. Requirements:
A Minimum of 1 year experience in an operating room as an Anesthesia Technician High School Diploma/GED or the equivalent combination of education and experience Must possess BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association upon start Featured
