The Office of the County Administrator is the highest-level management office of the Loudoun County Government and supports the Board of Supervisors in shaping the strategic and policy direction of the county.
The County Administrator directs and supervises the day-to-day operations of all county departments and agencies, which are under the direct control of the Board of Supervisors pursuant to county ordinances and regulations.
Job Description The Office of the County Administrator is seeking qualified applicants to join our team as an Executive Assistant to provide executive-level administrative support to an Assistant County Administrator and other senior staff and general administrative support to the Office.
Successful candidates should be resourceful, self-motivated, well-organized, possess great time management skills, exhibit a willingness to work in a team environment, and problem-solve independently.
This recruitment is for multiple Executive Assistant positions.
Under general direction, the Executive Assistant performs tasks including, but not limited to, the following:
Performs complex and confidential administrative support duties for the executive team members and coordinates alongside other Executive Assistants.
Manages an executive's calendar in consideration of other executives' activities; schedules and coordinates meetings and other appointments; prepares and distributes documents such as meeting agendas and related information; informs staff of executive's commitments; makes travel arrangements for the executive's business travel; and organizes meeting room reservations and catering when necessary.
Acts as a liaison between the executive and staff, elected and appointed officials, external organizations, and the public.
Manages information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
Provides administrative assistance, such as drafting or editing correspondence, reports, presentations, and may conduct research or special projects as needed.
Provides administrative coverage support to the Office as needed to include front desk duties; assisting at Board of Supervisors business meetings and public hearings, which may require occasional attendance at evening meetings; and assisting with special projects and events.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Job Requirements Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and five (5) years of related clerical/administrative work experience, prior experience as an executive assistant is preferred.
Demonstrated skills in Microsoft 365 Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, Word) and Adobe Sign or DocuSign.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
