Technical Proposal Writer

The Building People LLC is currently hiring a Technical Proposal Writer to support our proposal team.
This position will be located in Leesburg, VA, and will be a hybrid remote position with 2 days per week onsite.
Responsibilities:
Create compliant and compelling proposal content by thoroughly analyzing the solicitation requirements.
Lead technical volumes but may also work on management volumes.
Use critical thinking skills to iteratively develop content and graphics using best practices such as storyboarding.
Deliver required artifacts according to the schedule.
Develop RFP and Task Order responses based on Statement of Work (SOW) or Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements.
Collaborate with other proposal team members to integrate win themes, discriminators, and strengths into assigned written sections.
Serve as a section or volume lead, management solution architect, and/or an expert color team reviewer.
Interact with program / project technical personnel to obtain technical content and feedback necessary for a response and develop written content based on technical content provided.
Write proposal narratives that are responsive to requirements and highlight the strengths or benefits of our solution.
Work with graphic designer to develop or refine graphics.
May be required to work evenings and weekends.
If 50 miles or more from Leesburg, VA , this position can be remote.
Skills & Requirements Required Skills and
Experience:
Proven ability to write compliant and compelling proposal technical and management sections in response to Government solicitations in support of a variety of departments and agencies (Federal/Civilian and DoD/IC).
Experience writing and tailoring content for technical and non-technical proposal sections for a wide variety of topics (e.
g.
, facilities management, technology solutions, management consulting).
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Demonstrated ability to interact with and effectively document technical content provided by program / project technical personnel.
Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic environment US Citizenship is required; Active Secret Clearance is a plus.
Required Education:
