You will provide a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of an attorney.
Responsibilities Provide administrative support to lawyer and enhance office effectiveness Handle communication with clients Prepare and file legal documents and correspondence Answer and direct phone calls Maintain contact lists Monitor deadlines and manage calendars Generate monthly invoices and monitor collections Skills Proven working experience as legal assistant or legal secretary Familiarity with legal procedures and protocols, and court system Satisfactory knowledge of day-to-day operations of a legal office Computer literacy Proficiency in English and ideally Spanish as well Working knowledge of case management and billing software Excellent administrative and organizational skills Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure Superior verbal and written communication skills are vital Must be a self starter and work well as both an individual performer and in a team environment Requirements High school diploma is required A 4-year college degree is desired Must have at least 5 years of experience as a legal assistant Job Type:
